I spent my entire career teaching, and I love to help others learn. I've been a teacher in the classroom, a substitute teacher, a paraprofessional in special education, and the theater teacher. I also worked for nonprofit art center and enjoy playwriting. I really enjoy tutoring because of the individualized approach that I can offer students, focusing on their individual needs to help them learn effectively and efficiently. I had a lot of great mentors who helped me achieve success, and tutoring is a way for me to pay it forward. I can tutor theater, reading, public speaking, literature, writing, essays, grammar, history, algebra, elementary math, and test preparation for the ACT, ASPIRE, COMPASS, SSAT, CAHSEE, SAT, and other exams. In my free time, I like to read, enjoy science fiction, hike, camp, and cook.
